Banana Lassi


  • 3 small (or 2 large) very ripe or over-ripe bananas
  • 4-5 heaped tbsps thick Greek yogurt
  • 2 green cardamom pods, crushed with a mortar & pestle
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
  • couple handfuls of small ice cubes
  • splash of whole milk (optional)


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth or in a sturdy container and blend with a stick blender until smooth.

Taste to see if the spicing is right & adjust if necessary.
