St Ann’s Food Hub is a group of local people in and around St Ann’s ward in Haringey who have decided that everyone should be able to access fresh produce, whether during a global pandemic or when things get back to ‘normal’.

We provide boxes full of fresh fruit and veg for an incredibly reasonable price, as well as providing ‘Solidarity’ boxes for free to those locally who really need them through our local partner organisations.

Each box costs £10.

Our boxes contain fruit and veg sourced both from New Spitalfields Market and direct from British producers through Lea Valley, by our supplier Fresh and Fruity. F&F work with us very generously as part of their charitable work. The number of different varieties will vary week-to-week depending on how many boxes are ordered; more boxes = more variety.

Please note, that due to recent Br**it factors impacting on our supplier, there may be fewer varities of veg appearing at the moment. We always aim to have at least 17 different things!

You can order ‘Solidarity’ boxes to donate fruit and veg directly to local people in need. We distribute these every Friday via our local partners: Tottenham Community Food Hub, Caris, the Markfield Project, local schools, Haringey Migrant Support Centre and individuals referred to us by St Ann’s Mutual Aid Coordinators.

You can donate money! Any donations we receive plus £1 from each box we sell goes into a fund to support other groups such as Caris, The Selby Centre, Tottenham Food Bank and Haringey Migrant Support Centre. The St Ann’s Food Hub Committee decide where we send our money at a weekly zoom meeting. Suggestions are always welcome!

We operate at Chestnuts Park Community Centre.

Our pickup times will be confirmed via email once you have ordered, but are normally Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

We do NOT deliver. If you cannot collect your box during the collection times, your box will be given away to someone in need (but it’s much simpler if you donate solidarity boxes…)

We are entirely staffed by volunteers, and we welcome anybody who can spare a few hours on a Friday or Saturday for a genuinely enjoyable time loading, sorting or handing out our veg boxes. You can volunteer by clicking here. We operate in a COVID secure environment, using appropriate PPE in a well ventilated space.

If you would like to join the Committee/organising team, please email stannsfoodhub@gmail.com. Please note we are entirely volunteer run and have no paid roles. All the money raised goes to feeding people who need help in the area.

Our subscriptions system can be a bit tempramental sometimes – apologies. If you have any problems you can either sort them by logging in with the account details you made  or by emailing us on stannsfoodhub@gmail.com .

Your subscription will renew on the same day/time as you made your first subscription purchase.

If you want to make a change to your subscription, you have to cancel your current weekly order and start a new one. You can cancel your existing subscription here or by emailing us on stannsfoodhub@gmail.com.
